ISMP COVID-19 RESPONSE

During these trying times, it’s more important than ever that ISMP continues to support its partners in the USA and around the world. Here’s how we’re responding to the COVID-19 pandemic:

• Emergency Food Relief in Uganda and Rwanda – Joblessness from COVID-19 has left our students and their families without food. We are teaming up with the staffs of schools, shelters, and NGOs to organize a food bank and provide emergency food relief
  
  

• Nursing Home/ALF Initiative in USA – We’re teaming up with nursing homes and ALFs in the USA to provide comfort to isolated individuals through personalized music and videos
  
  

• Online Music Classes for Refugee Communities  - Our partners on the ground in Greece have moved classes online so that music students can continue learning
  
  

• Art Supplies and Basketball Equipment to NYC Shelter  - We are continuing our support for the youth at Covenant House NY homeless shelter for teens. In lieu of in-person music classes and basketball session, we’re providing art books and other art materials so that the youth have an artistic outlet during lock-down. We are also contributing basketball supplies such as sneakers.
